The
Aristasian Central Library
How much Aristasian material is available on-line? The answer is many hundreds of thousands of words and huge amounts of illustrative material. Most of this will be found scattered in a few great Archives. The purpose of this page is to provide a central point of access to the main Archives and then to build a collection of other Aristasian texts that have either found no place in Elektraspace hitherto or have been relatively inaccessible. We hope in the future to have other materials such a sound files in our collections.
The Girls' Town Archive. The extensive Archives of the current Central Aristasian Forum in Elektraspace. Fewer volumes than the Original Cocktail Bar Archives, but much larger ones.
The Original Aphrodite Cocktail Bar Archives. Seventy-nine Archives complete with illustrations. A massive collection of chat, exposition, whimsy and seriousness from the busy early years of Aristasia-in-Elektraspace.
The Chronicles of Avendale. This deceptively plain-looking text file contains the complete archives of the old Avendale School Aristasian role-playing game (not to be confused with the current one) — over four hundred thousand words of it.
Aristasia Circle. An Elektrapost-group for all females interested in Aristasia.
The Penthouse Library and Roof-Garden. Our sister-library. Devoted to Tellurian criticism from an Aristasian or quasi-Aristasian standpoint. Since the focus is outside Aristasia we do not include the material in this library. We do not endorse all that appears here, but much of it will be of interest to Aristasians.
Regrettably only two real, hold-in-your-hand Aristasian books are available and in print at present. Even the celebrated Children of the Void is unobtainable except second-hand at excessive prices. Being real books, we cannot hold them in a virtual library but you may read about them and read extracts from them:
The Feminine Universe : Possibly the most important book in Aristasia. A complete exposition of the Feminine Essentialist philosophy on which the Aristasia is founded.
The District Governess : A discipline book (for commercial reasons) but also a series of delightful vignettes set in various parts of Aristasia Pura. Beautifully written and full of information about Aristasia.
Rather small at present, but we are hoping to build a substantial body of Aristasian material.
